Job Description

Duration - 6 - 8 Months for Dubai Global Event

Fresher’s will be considered as per their eligibility   


Customer Service or Hospitality or Events related experience

Hands on operational management experience within a leisure environment.

5 years’ experience and 3 years in a supervisory role

Health & Safety Training

Degree in Business Management or related field

Fluency in English and / or Spanish/Arabic/French

Profile Description

HR Shift Manager should provide direction and leadership to ensure high standards of operational efficiency and quality, customer satisfaction and employee engagement and development
Lead and drive operational initiatives, continuous improvement and change management whilst sustaining a culture of excellence
HR Shift Manager must build relationships with key stakeholders whilst monitoring the outcomes of internal processes to our end customers in order to enhance the Pavilion’s overall delivery of services
Ensure sufficient handling of the complaints management process
Implement effective and creative team communication strategies, provide routine feedback and spot talks with guest services team, Communicate internally all issues affecting the Pavilion operation and regularly liaise with senior management and directors throughout the Operations and deal with their queries quickly and effectively
HR Shift Manager should arrive at the pavilion before the hosts team members in the morning and ensure the appropriate Opening and closing of the pavilion
Ensure the Team is adequately trained to the highest standards and constantly develop them to achieve their full potential
Develop and deliver a system for guest feedback, and manage the output
HR Shift Manager must ensure all members of the team are meeting the agreed key performance indicators (KPIs)
Ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation are maintained within the guest services and admissions areas
Ensure all staff strictly follows Pavilion uniform guidelines. Participate in constantly improving and developing the Pavilion presentation standards and take initiative to improve the standards wherever possible
Ensure that all offices and VIP facilities are clean
Ensure that hosts team members are in position 10 minutes prior to opening time;
Brief hosts team members about any special activities or visitors
Supervise team members during the day and attend to emergencies
Assist with special or protocol events, events manager when required
HR Shift Manager should track hours of work of hosts team members
Reporting any abnormalities to the Pavilion Director or his/her representative onsite
